Comedy Night - mic in hand

Mic in Hand was founded by Kent Valentine and Sam Bowring, two young comics based in Sydney. Since its inception in 2003, MIH has aimed to provide performance opportunities for open mic'ers (new comics looking for stage time) as well as professionals, providing both comics and audience with quality nights of entertainment.

MIH currently runs a weekly Thursday room at the Friend in Hand Hotel in Glebe, which sells out regularly and has grown a reputation for being one of the friendliest and most supportive rooms in Australia - as well as a great night out!

Comics who have performed at Mic in Hand include: Wil Anderson, Arj Barker, James O'Loughlin, Akmal Saleh, Sarah Kendell, Charlie Pickering, Justin Hamilton, Mick Meredith, Dave Callan, Gary Eck, Anthony Mir, Subby Valentine, Dave Williams, Chris Franklin, and many more.
